I don't think it children with 2 mixed parents can be considered 1/4white or black. Quadroons & Griffes (Actually Marabou is the child of a Mulatto and a full Black, Griffe is the child of a Marabou & full Black) That is the designator full black or full white.

Examples of 1/4th mulatto people (quadroons and "griffes"):
Rae Dawn Chongs daughter (1/4 black) That's not Rae's daughter, that is her boyfriend or husbands child from another woman.
Jazmine Guy's Children (1/4th white) only the girl in the bottom right is Jasmines daughter, those other kids are her husbands children from another marriage or nephew/nieces

as you all may have noticed, there are a lot of posts missing from this thread. in an effort to put this thread back on topic, i have deleted or edited the posts that skewed from the topic at hand. please keep in mind when making posts that the positive resource board is different from the free speech and debate board. this board is a resource tool and so we would like to keep posts as factual and on topic as possible.
this particular thread, 1/4th mulattoes, should continue to be used to post information about people who are known griffes or quadroons, famous, infamous or otherwise.

But in older pictures you can definately tell she is mixed(a quadroon)...
I think she is 1/4 black, 1/4 mexican, and 1/2 white.
Looks like she has the chameleon effect going on like me LOL! The last time I heard her tell her ethnicity she said she was black and white, conviently left out her mexican heritage. Funny how the public percieves you as white b/c you are light and have straight hair.

what i've often noticed with people who ar mgm mixed whether that is 1/4 black or with two mixed race parents there seems to be more variety than with fgm mixed people in how the siblings look. for example i have often seem 1/4 black siblings were one looks mostly white and the other looks more obviousely part black. i just find it odd when magazines print stories about this as if its some amazing phenomenon. |
