Filled out an online application today and it had a box I've never seen. Instead of OTHER, it had "more than two of the above races (Not Hispanic or Latino)." Is this a new or is it a California thing? I'm used to only OTHER or having to check all the boxes that represent me.
I went ahead and marked Native American because only one circle could be checked and some of the journalism and educational affiliations on my resume have Native American references.
Step in the right direction, I suppose. Wonder what the new census will say.

I've seen this before. I've even seen some that will allow you to add which races you are made up of in addition to checking "more than two races" or "other". |
